# Botecos: for the neighbourhood bar that is a meeting point.

Oasys for botecos, the small Brazilian neighbourhood bars: a digital tab as simple as paper, a server who reaches the pavement even with no signal, and a bill that closes right, with no guesswork.

- **Segment:** Botecos, small Brazilian neighbourhood bars
- **Group:** Night
- **Modules:** Tabs, offline, register
- **In short:** A digital tab as simple as paper and offline ordering out on the pavement.

A table on the pavement, the match on TV, regulars every week. The boteco already works. The system only has to take the error out of the bill, without changing how the place does things.

## The eyeball estimate. Doing the sums in your head works against you.

End of the night, the table on the pavement asks for the bill. The server adds it up from memory: eight beers or nine? In doubt, he charges eight. The regular does not complain, and the house pays for the ninth.

The paper tab gets wet, tears, disappears into an apron pocket. Every lost slip is beer served and not charged for. By the end of the month, that adds up to a whole keg.

## Three things that change the end of the night.

- A tab as simple as paper. The server taps the item and that is it, the order is recorded. As easy as writing it down, with no handwriting to decipher at the register.
- The pavement within reach. The server's phone works even where the signal does not. An order from the table out on the street goes in offline and rises when the network comes back.
- The right bill, with no argument. Every beer recorded the moment it is opened. The bill comes out printed or on the phone, item by item. The regular checks it and the friendship carries on.

## A boteco night on Oasys.

Thursday match night. 17:00 to 01:00. Twenty tables, half of them on the pavement, the match on TV. Not one free beer.

- 17:40: Happy hour starts. The table on the pavement opens a tab on the server's phone.
- 19:10: A goal in the match. 18 beers recorded in five minutes, none of them from memory.
- 21:00: The signal wavers out on the street. Offline ordering keeps coming in from the pavement.
- 23:30: Table 12 asks for the bill. Item by item, on paper or on the customer's phone.
- 01:15: The door closes. The register balances with what came out of the fridge.

At the boteco, the trust carries on. Now with the number alongside it.

## A boteco has questions of its own.

- Do I need to change equipment or put in a computer? No. The system runs on the server's phone and on a tablet at the register. The bill printer you already have will probably do.
- My team is two people. Does it work? It works. One server out on the street, one at the register, and the order moves between them on its own. It is less walking and less shouting than paper.
- The signal on the pavement is weak. What then? The server app keeps the order offline and sends it when the signal comes back. The table on the street sells just like the one inside.
- Do the weekly regulars get different treatment? The history is there: what each table consumes, which day fills up, which draft beer moves. A house tab for loyal regulars is on the product roadmap.
- Do I issue tax invoices even with a simple operation? You do. NFC-e automatically at closing, with no typing and with no change to your routine. Your accountant will thank you.
- How much does it cost? Prices are public. There are three plans on a monthly subscription, with no lock-in and no penalty, and the entry plan covers the whole day to day operation. In a 30 minute conversation we point you to the right plan for your boteco.

## The boteco just as it is. With the right bill.

A demo in Portuguese, with someone from the team. 30 minutes.

What to expect.

- A demo of the boteco flow. Tab, pavement, register.
- A direct answer on timing, integration and cost.
- A conversation with no commitment and no sales script.
